You must understand that when you feel desire, you are recognizing a lack.
You cannot feel lack if you are not also aware of what it would feel like to not have that lack. You cannot feel hungry if you don’t also know what it feels like to feel full.
That lack exists now and the fulfillment of that lack exists in the future.
But we know that the future is an allusion. We experience time as linear, but objectively – to Source – past and future are all contained “now.” All that is, will be, or has been is contained in the infinity of source. One of the Jewish names of God – Yud, Heh, Vav, Heh - refers to past (Hayah), present (Hoveh), and future (Yeheh) – היה, הווה ויהיה. The eternal source is beyond time, the Creator of time.
So when you feel lack, the greater you who is beyond the boundaries of time, is fulfilling that lack the instant the desire arises.
As Esther Hicks says, “when you don’t have enough money and you ask for more (recognizing lack) the higher/inner being part of you instantly becomes more prosperous. Because, in the very recognition of the “not-enough-money” is the awareness of the feeling “I-have-tons of-money.”
So really, every desire we have is an instantaneous portal to an experience of the fulfillment of that desire. The problem is that we just keep beating the drum of not having (which really is old news). People think that the articulation of a desire is the beginning. In fact, it really is the end. It represents an enormous amount of development, experience, and understanding before you can properly identify a lack and articulate it as I want…

An Easy Meditation
- Close your eyes.
- Identify a lack inside of you.
- Imagine, in as much detail as feels good, what it would feel like to have that desire fulfilled.
- Hold that feeling for at 20 seconds.
- Allow yourself to drift towards other good thoughts and feelings. Hold this place for at least 60 seconds.
- Open your eyes and see how the momentum of that feeling continues to carry you.
You just used your lack as a portal to fulfillment.
You just decided to live now like you have everything you want.
You decided to allow yourself to feel good, giving up the illusion that suffering will give you what you want…
Because you did this, you will begin attracting the conditions to the fulfillment of that lack, in this world.
Because like is drawn to like. Frequency is drawn to frequency
“I don’t have enough money” draws more “not enough money”
“I have plenty of money” draws more “plenty of money.”
Now, you just have to wait, patiently, for reality to catch up, which is what every great, visionary being does. And suddenly, waiting doesn’t feel so hard, since you’re feeling good in the meantime.
It’s actually remarkable how powerful this is. You will realize that you are constantly aware of all that you want to be and all that you want to have. What would it feel like to have all of that? Most people cannot answer that question.
