It’s very simple. Focus on things that feel good when you focus on them and pursue them.
Your inner being does not lie. We all want to feel safe, rich, powerful, important, desired, loved, healthy, satisfied, inspired, passionate, excited, and eager. Focus on feeling this way now and watch where life guides you.
Life will guide you with:
- Sudden ideas and visions
- Meetings with the right people
- Coincidences which are too good to be true
Meditation will help calm everything down and help you enter into that state of flow. The more you are in this state of flow, the more you will see the subtle signs the universe sends you.
Buuuuuut…what about money?
Money will flow to you when you’re connected to source, passionately engaging with the world, and remaining open (which will keep your eyes open to new opportunities).
Buuuuut…what if I want to do “bad” things?
Sometimes we need to do bad things to remind ourselves why we do good things. This isn’t an excuse, but it is the recognition that sometimes, we may do things that aren’t in line with what we really want.
Also, the more we focus on what we really want, the more we won’t want to do bad things. For example, let’s say that you’re married but you really want to sleep with that person. What you really want is to feel desired, powerful, loved, pleasure, etc. Your ticket to those things is to not break the trust with your spouse (because all that you want is really achievable through that, and not through the one-night fling). So embody that person who feels all those things and go home to create that with your spouse.
Buuuuut…I don’t believe it’s possible.
What don’t you believe is possible? That you can have everything that you want? What do you have to lose? Is your doubt helping you? Is it helping you get what you want? (You might think yes…) What do you have to lose? Look around at everyone else who lives their life dominated by their doubt and fear. Is that what you want?
What do you have to lose? Try it for a week. Can you do that? Join the Surrender Experiment.
Buuuut…sacrifice is necessary, isn’t it?
What is sacrifice? Giving up what you want now for what you want then? There is no then, there is only now. If you embody the way that you want to feel, you won’t feel any sacrifice. Does Lebron James feel sacrifice when he’s lifting at the gym, or saying no to a night out? No, because he’s Lebron James when he’s working out, when he’s sleeping, when he’s hustling.
Also, many times, “sacrifice” is just a word we use for punishing ourselves and reinforcing our self-limiting beliefs. For example, maybe you won’t eat desert because you are holding onto to this belief that you are fat. But you are not fat. You are thin and beautiful and desirable and fit and powerful. That person is allowed to eat desert sometimes because they have no fear of being fat. The reality is that if you embody that mindset and let go of your tension and extreme tendencies, your life will start to align (in all forms, externally and internally).
A thin/healthy person doesn’t starve themselves or torture themselves with food. They focus on feeling good and desire food and things that makes them feel good. A fat person who wants to get thin starves themselves and tortures themselves with food. But that is not you.
Do you understand? It’s actually really simple. People somehow hold onto beliefs that don’t serve them because they’re too afraid to be happy. They think that if they’re truly happy, they won’t get what they want. What a fucked up misconception. YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY. Give up this perverted view of life that suffering is the path towards getting what you want. It’s not true.
EVERYTHING YOU WANT is on one side of the stick. This side is filled with joy, passion, wealth, creativity, and life. Everything you don’t want is on the other side of the stick. Don’t choose the wrong side.
- Be who you want to be.
- Feel what you will feel like when you are all that you want to be.
- Revel in the feeling of being what you want to be.
- Watch as everything you want starts to come.
- Feel more of it…
- Share it with others.
