Ah yes. Perhaps the subtlest and most effective voice of doubt.
Maybe I’m not supposed to get what I want.
Look at all the other bad things that happened to people, why won’t they happen to me?
Look at all the people who seem totally misaligned. They’re stressed, unhappy, overworked. But they’re rich!
The answer to this – and it may be hard to stomach – is that no, Source does not always give you what you want.
It always gives you what you manifest, like it or not.

Like is drawn to like. Frequency is drawn to frequency. The Universe responds to what you mean, not what you say.
- When you say, “I want more money,” the Universe sees the truth in the words that say, “I don’t have enough money and I’m scared and stressed and not satisfied.” So more of scared and stressed and not-satisfied is drawn towards you.
- “I don’t have enough money” draws more dissatisfaction and scarcity, which will likely manifest itself in more financial problems.
People think that by going around feeling lack, they’ll eventually get what they want. This is really due to a distorted understanding of what it is that creates in this world. You think you are the ultimate creator, yet you have no idea how to really create anything. You don’t know how to create life, you have no idea how your body works or how to control its inner apparatus. This world is largely a mystery to you.
Whatever IT is that created this world, is by far the greatest Creator. This world and existence is phenomenal. The energy of this Source, Universe, God, is the ultimate source of Creation. It IS creative energy, period. So the more that you allow that energy to flow through you, the more powerful of a Creator you become.
Now this Creator created you as a mini creator. Why, is a whole different discussion. But here you are. This energy of creation is flowing around you all of the time, capable of being harnessed by you. Do you know how to know when you’re flowing with God? You feel good, powerful, creative, alive, happy.
The Universe matches and forms to what you are emanating. If you are emanating happiness, happiness is created. If you feel wealthy, then wealth is created. If you feel bitter, then bitterness is created. So your “job,” your most powerful method of creation, is to be that which you want to create.
Your Blueprint
In the same way a house is built from a blueprint, your reality is built from your emotional and energetic blueprint. You cannot fake it. You cannot say to yourself, “I’m happy and aligned” if you feel resentful and negative. Your blueprint is resentful and negative, no matter what you are saying. Look inside yourself. Sit quietly and look at how your outer world matches your inner world. You probably have always thought you were just “reacting” to the outside. In reality, the outside is reacting to you.
Have you ever seen someone who just exudes confidence? You don’t really even know why, but they just do. They were confident before good things started coming to them. In fact, it’s pretty clear that all those things that they wanted, came to them because they were confident. It’s pretty much like that.
One final example: Desperation never gets us anywhere. You can smell desperation at a bar. You can smell desperation on a sales call. Desperation never brings something “new” (i.e. success). It just brings more desperation.
You become really, really powerful when you just stop caring anymore about the future. You have let go of all of your fear. You feel fulfilled, trusting, alive, and excited in the now. When you do this, all that you have been asking for, all the “wants” that you have been projecting your entire life, begin to flow to you. Why? Because you have become like God.
You have to care about how you feel more than anything else. You have to stop blaming people for your unhappiness.
Do I really not need to do anything?
Well that really depends on how aligned you are. No, really.
