At the basis of the Universe is energy – Oneness, Source, God. The energy isn't God, but God is the source of this energy (hence why we call Her "Source").
What is the Law of Attraction?
Esther Hicks coined the term. I love her. Just thought I’d add that in.
All energy has a magnetic quality to it. We see this with waves. When two waves collide, they flow together and form the same frequency. That means that vibration draws to it similar vibrations.
What Are Vibrations?
Every thought that we think has a certain vibration. What is important is not the content of the thought, but the vibration of the thought.
For example, the same thought can have different vibrations. "Wow, look at that tree" can be a good thought full of appreciation, or: "Wow, look at that tree...my neighbor was supposed to cut it down 8 weeks ago!" is full of blame and resentment.
That's why mindfulness is such a key component. You have to be mindful of the emotions associated with each thought. Is it negative or positive?
What is Co-Creation?
Cocreation is understanding that all of reality is a reflection of the vibration you are putting out. Cocreation means that you focus turns from trying to manipulate reality to doing the inner work and watching reality change.
Well-being flows through us always. This flow is the source of health, wealth, success, attraction, and everything that you want. YOU are the one who cuts yourself from this flow. You can literally feel this flowing through you if you close your eyes and put your awareness on your body.
So, the key to getting what you want is to stop stopping this flow. We call this resistance. Resistance is when you put out a vibration that is not aligned with the vibration of Source. The vibration of Source is always one of Love, Joy, and Well-being. So when you don't feel this, you are putting up resistance. In fact, the reason you don't feel good is BECAUSE your vibration is not matching source.
How do I change my vibration?
You cannot feel something very far off from your current vibration. This is why, when you're feeling good, you don't also feel afraid. And when you feel afraid, it's almost impossible to find a feeling of gratitude.
Basically, the path towards getting what you want, is to let go of resistant thoughts. When you become very attune to what you feel on the inside, then you can feel the vibration of thoughts before they gain any momentum. You just stop thinking that thought and then move your focus to something that feels good.
Put very simply: You focus on the best feeling thought that you can in every moment.
Meditation is very effective for building awareness and for stopping negative emotional momentum when it has started.
But what about directing my focus towards what I want?
Great. This is what most "manifestation techniques" are for. Three things that make your manifestation come: 1. Your connection to the creative energy we call Source energy. You will feel good and happy when you are connected to this. 2. Your desire. If you want something badly, you will be drawing it towards you strongly. BUT, you can't not want something so badly that it disconnects you from Source and ruins #1. 3. Your belief. Your belief also draws things towards you. Do you believe that you can have what you want?
So, the most important thing is that you align with Source and feel good. Then, from a joyous place, you can start directing your desire and modifying your self-limiting beliefs.
IF you ever feel like any activity in the #2 or #3 area is breaking your connection to Source (making you feel stressed, worried, concerned, doubting, etc), STOP doing that activity and find something that feels good.
Sometimes, if we have too much negativity around a particular desire, we must get off the subject entirely and focusing on something different that feels good when we focus on it.
Now What?
Begin to meditate.
